Meals, foods, and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods, and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals.

Our meals are:

  • Provide the right balance of protein, dairy, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables
  • Contain age-appropriate portion sizes to meet calorie & energy needs

Lunch - No Cost


The ‘no-cost’ only applies to one meal at each service if the meal meets the USDA requirements of taking 3 of 5 offered components. So, for those students who wish to just grab a milk they will be charged $0.50 unless they also take a fruit and a vegetable to qualify as a free lunch. For students wanting a second meal, they will be charged the paid meal appropriate price.
